dance it all away

in il parco sempione, there was a large tent set up complete with dance floor 
and energetic people of an 'older' persuasion sweating it out to classics from 
gloria gaynor to grease. this one diva in particular stole the show with her saucy moves, 
making it impossible not to at least sway to the rhythm. i don't know where she is from, 
where she learned the moves, but i'm glad she's alive.

escape for 5 days to the piemonte & lombardia regions of italy. 
be back soon!

while recently digging through archives, i've once again unearthed my last project from college - -

a library of sorts. it was done in collaboration with kaitlyn pietras. the first post with final images can be found here!

rio arno, il duomo, those weird few blocks of the city center that don't quite fit in plan. things i remember about firenze (2005) that for some reason have recently resurfaced. 

this is undoubtedly due to a postcard from the Ambrosios that makes its home in the back fold of my sketchbook. 

i imagine the ponte vecchio reaching critical mass, ultimately tumbling into the arno.
